Résumé :

Les techniques alternatives d’assainissement sont une innovation prometteuse pour la transition énergétique et environnementale ainsi que le développement d’un métabolisme urbain durable. Aujourd’hui, le recyclage des nutriments des eaux usées est faible, seulement 4% de l’azote et 41% du phosphore présents dans les eaux usées de la région parisienne sont actuellement recyclés alors que la consommation en engrais azotés francilienne pourrait être couverte par les excrétions de l’agglomération parisienne. Cette valorisation est notamment possible via les urines, qui comportent la majeure partie de ces nutriments et qui de plus, sont peu chargées en polluants. Ce projet se situe à l’interface entre différentes disciplines (agronomie, chimie, sociologie, etc) et a pour sujet l’étude de filières de valorisation de sous-produits issus de techniques alternatives d’assainissement. L’objectif à terme étant de proposer un paradigme alternatif au « tout-à-l’égout » dans la gestion des eaux usées. Les différents sous-produits seront caractérisés selon leur intérêt agronomique, leur composition en polluants et des essais au champ permettront de quantifier ces intérêts agronomiques. Les freins, leviers et synergies liés à la pratique seront étudiés auprès des acteurs des filières en relation avec un bilan environnemental et économique de différentes filières.
