Amélioration de la représentation des émissions agricoles d’AMmoniac pour une meilleure Prévision de la qualité de l’AIR en France

Mieux représenter la variabilité spatiale et temporelle des émissions d’ammoniac est un enjeu majeur d’amélioration des outils opérationnels de prédiction de la qualité de l’air (Prev’Air). Cet enjeu, soutenu par les politiques publiques, concerne tant la pollution de fond que les pics printaniers de pollution aux particules. A ces fins, le projet Amp’Air utilise en entrée des modèles atmosphériques de chimie-transport les inventaires dynamiques spatialisés d’émissions d’ammoniac générés avec l’outil Cadastre_NH3. L’originalité de cet outil repose sur la combinaison d’un modèle mécaniste de volatilisation d’ammoniac au champ, Volt’Air, à des données géo référencées et temporellement explicites : l’occupation des sols par les cultures, la répartition et les propriétés des sols, les conditions météorologiques, et, plus spécifiquement, la description de la fertilisation azotée par type de cultures (types d’engrais, dates, doses, méthodes d’apport et d’abattement…).
