La contribution du dépôt gazeux à la contamination des eaux de surfaces n’est pas prise en compte dans l’évaluation des risques liés à l’utilisation des pesticides. Un outil d’évaluation a été construit à partir d’un modèle couplant volatilisation, transport et dépôt à l’échelle locale. Dans certains cas, le modèle a mis en évidence que le dépôt de pesticides gazeux dans les eaux de surface contribue plus à la contamination que la dérive de gouttelettes.
