Caractérisation de la minéralisation de Produits Résiduaires Organiques pour optimiser la substitution des engrais de synthèse

Contexte du stage :

La conception de systèmes de cultures moins dépendants aux engrais de synthèse, qui sont une ressource non renouvelable et onéreuse, est un des éléments pouvant permettre d’améliorer l’agriculture. Afin de développer de tels systèmes, les Produits Résiduaires Organiques (PRO) sont une alternative à ces engrais de synthèse. Dans le contexte francilien, les zones urbaines voisines produisent des quantités importantes de PRO plus ou moins valorisées en agriculture à l’heure actuelle : composts de déchets verts, composts ou digestats de biodéchets issus du tri des déchets à la source, boues d’épuration, etc. Ces PRO viennent compléter les PRO d’élevage existants, qui restent cependant peu présents en Île-de-France.

L’UMR ECOSYS mène des recherches pour optimiser l’utilisation de ces PRO au sein de petits territoires agricoles, notamment via le projet en cours PSDR PROLEG. Dans le cadre de ce projet, le programme LEADER (fonds européen) du plateau de Saclay (sud de Paris) permet de financer des essais au champ et au labo pour étudier la valorisation des PRO sur le plateau de Saclay, en concertation avec les agriculteurs et autres acteurs du plateau. Un des aspects principaux que ces essais au champ et en labo doit couvrir est la vitesse de minéralisation des PRO, ceci afin de déterminer la dynamique de l’azote dans le sol et d’estimer la fourniture aux cultures ainsi que les pertes vers l’environnement.
