Fanny Hartmann (ESE, Université de Paris-Sud) - "Etude des mécanismes de l'adaptation à l'hôte et son environnement chez le champignon phytopathogène Zymoseptoria tritici par une approche de génomique des populations"

Ce vendredi à 13h30 Fanny Hartmann du Département Génétique et Ecologie Evolutives du laboratoire ESE (Ecologie, Systématique et Evolution), de l'université Paris-Sud, nous présentera un séminaire intitulé:
"Etude des mécanismes de l'adaptation à l'hôte et son environnement chez le champignon phytopathogène Zymoseptoria tritici par une approche de génomique des populations"
Combinant une approche de génétique d'association et de détection des signatures de sélection, nous avons identifié des gènes candidats qui pourraient être impliqués dans les interactions du champignon pathogène avec son hôte et son environnement. Nos travaux mettent en évidence l'importance des variations structurales impliquant des gènes comme mécanisme d'adaptation.
"Population genomics of adaptation in the fungal wheat pathogen Zymoseptoria tritici"
Using genome-wide association mapping and selection scans, we identified candidate genes likely playing a role in fungal adaptation to the host and the environment. Our results suggest the high adaptive potential of structural variation affecting genes.
